We are live tonight at the Central Illinois Throwdown in East Peoria.  We are looking forward to a great event.  check back for updates and round by Rounds.

Dalton Evland (True Believers) vs Josh Richardson (Big Bear Academy) (Kickboxing Match)
Round 1
Evland starts the deliver first with a leg kick.  Richardson looking low and is tagged by a right and then a knee to the groin.
Knees from Richardson and the referee stops the fight from a possible groin strike. Richardson coming forward and some good head movement from.

Round 2
Richardson the agressors now and forces a clinch. Evland escapes and then a body shot by Richardson now working the long range and setting up kicks. As Evland
presses froward a swing and a miss for Richardson. Evland now the agressor and throwing more techniques. At the end of two I have Evland ahead.

Round 3
Evland comes out and is throw Richardson seems to be tired and Evland continues to throw top and bottom.

At the end of three rounds the judges call Dalton Evland your winner of the first bout

Brendan the Maverick Prohafska (Big Bear Academy) v Trevor Taylor (Team PMAA) (KickBoxing)
Round 1
Taylor comes out and confidently starts the strikes up top. Prohosfka cant seem to stay out of striking range and doesnt seem to be able to keep his chin down. and referee Bob long stops the fight at 1:03 of the first round

Tim Carpenter vs larie Bonds (Peking Martial Arts Academy)
Round 1
Carpentir forces Bond to the cage and starts to unload.  Bonds gathers his composure and gets a takedown and he works a body triangle and then Carpentir gives up his back and Bond scores the rear naked choke.

Jason Dennis vs Nathan Garret
Round 1
Nice takedown by Dennis and garret trying to re-compose. Garret now sweeps and tries to mount, but Dennis has his neck. Garret was patient and gets mount and now a sweep by Dennis.  Dennis now working from the guard of Garret. Garret controling his arms and posture. Garret now sweeps and gets mount and starts to strike from the top.  Dennis gives up his back and Garret sinks in the choke.

With 9 seconds left of the first round Nathan Garret sinks in the rear naked for the win over Jason Dennis

Kendra Schimmelphenig vs Dee Hoots (CICC) (pancrase)
Round 1
Hoots comes forward and Schimmelphenig doesn't look like she was ready to fight.  Maybe nerves, but I have never seen anyone smile as they come to meet their opponent in the cage.  However, Schimmelphenig gets the first takedown and Hoots is now in a scramble.  Both of the fighters are now pushing for the cage and Hoots has what looks like a deep headlock with a choke in it.  Schimmelphenig is fighting the choke, but soon has to tap the referee.

JJ Tripken vs Cedric Volkmer
Round 1
Vokmer the first t oget movng and Tripken forces a clinch and then drags Vomkman to the floor.  Volkmar contrlling the top of Tripkens head and then Volkman tries to kick him away.. Tripken postures up and then stikes.  Volkman grabs his head and now tries a shoolder choke from the bottom.  A sweep by bolkman and now he is on top stuck in half guard. a sweep and Tripken is on his knees and Volkman sprawls to keep him down.
Round 2
A high kick by Volkman and the referee sees a reason to stop the fight as Tripken looks wobbly.
At :04 of the second round Cedric Volkman defeats JJ Tripken by a head kick TKO

Mike Spencer (MMA Infantry) vs Kyle Chappy (CICC)
Round 1
Spencer tries a superman punch and then a clinc by chappy who walks him to the cage from inside the guard. Chappy stands up and Spencer stays on his back.  Chappy very comfortable as he contnues to control Spencer from the top.  Chappy attempts to pass, ends up in half and staying very calm.  a kimora attempt by Chappy, Spencer fights it.  Chappy re-adjusts and then scores the Kimura at 2:11 of the first round.

Meika Lackey vs Meagan Condis (CICC)
Round 1
Lackey standing with her face in the air.  Not sure she was ready for this as Condis starts to strike at her.  A couple of shots and the referee steps in at :17 of round one.

Nathan Sealock (independent) vs Mike Taylor (PMAA)
Round 1
Sealock rushes a takedwon and Taylor stps it. Sealock uses the cage to push a takedown, but Taylor starts working from the top. strikes from the top and the ref is looking to stop.  Sealock grabs an arm and now Taylor takes his backhooks in and flattens him out.  The ref gives Sealock a couple of chances, but stops the fight at 1:22.

Elija Neese vs AJ Thomas
Round 1
Neese startws with a strike and Thomas jumps in for a takedown grabs a double, lifts and takes him down hard. and they are back to their feet.  Neese forces a clinch and Thomas holds him against the cage.  Thomas tries to roll him down and Neese almost takes his back.  Now Thomas turns into his guard and after some time the ref stands them up.  Thomas is tired and Neese attempts to take advantage of it.  Now Neese is striking and Thomas is running. Neese scores a takedown at the end of the round.

Round 2
Neese comes out to strike and .  forces a clinch on the cage and scores a takedown.  Neese tries to take his back and AJ rolls in to his guard.  No activity and the ref stands them up.  Neese again coming forward and as Thomas attempts a single. Neese locks in a guillotine and ends the fight.

Will Forkel (MMA Infantry) vs Alix Dix (CICC)
Round 1
Forkel firt to strike with a cross.  Dix attempts to come back and ends up grabbing the clinch.  A single kick from Dix and Forkel comes forward with punches.  Dix uses his hight and tries to guillotine.  He jumps in and slips both fighters on the ground and Dix working some great jiu jitsu and grabs and arm.  As Forkel tries to step over Dix secures the armbar upside down.

Trevor Ward vs Andrew Waterwork
Round 1
Ward is the first to get off with a leg kick Ward is coming at him hard and Waterwork is patient and wait for a takedown. Ward holding a guilotine, but workd is already in side control.  WArd scrambles up and now Waterwork on the bottom. Ward pushes Waterwork onto the cage. Warework tries an armbar and then as ward escapes he attempts to sit up and out.  Now Ward on the attack and as Waterwork gives him his back Ward begins to strike from the top.  Ward grabs an armbar and strikes from that position at Waterworks head.  Waterwork scrambles into a triangle at the end of the round.

Round 2
They both go for a leg kick and connect in the shins.  Waterwok attempts a takedown and Ward swarms him with guard and begins to work a triangle.  Waterwork attempts to stack, but Ward won't let him out of the triangle.  The triangle is loose and the both end up looking at each other and striking.  Ward finds a way to roll Waterwork and secures the armbar.

Adrianna Runyon vs Ashley Taylor (CICC)
Round 1
Taylor marches in and is the first to strike with a leg kick. After a takedown and  a scramble there is a stoppage for hiar pulling.  Runyon with her chin up and a very curios stiking technique.  Taylor marching in with a left and right. then a leg kick and Runyon now comes forward. Taylor back marching her down throwing strkes , but its Runyon that lands.  Now Taylor attempts a takedown.
Round 2
Taylor coming out the aggressor again.  RTaylor attempts a double, but Runyon spins it into a takedown.  Taylor takes her to the corner and Runyon has had enough.
Verbal tapout and the Ashley Taylor wins over Adrianna Runyon at  :51 of the second round

Alex Welker vs Joe Walker
Round 1
Walker coming out and Welker is the first to make contact. Welker continues to come at him with multiple hand strikes.  Walker turns his back and Welker begins to step over him raining strikes down and the ref stops the fight at :33 of the first round

Caleb Smith (The Gym) vs Clint Meyer (PMAA)
Round 1
Meyer throws a right that lands square. and Smith is in trouble. some nice solid work on the feet from Meyer and now he forces a clinch on the cage with Smith in trouble.  Now Smith tes the top position and strikes with his shoulder. Smith. 
Round 2
Smith again working his stand up and Meyer is trying to compete as Smith grabs a takedown and Meyer grabs for a guillotine he finds himself on the bottom.  Smith shuffles into mount and starts to punch from the mount and the referee stops the fight.

Justin Colston (Team Adrenaline) vs Adrian Oday
Round 1
Oday comes out kicking and starts throwing hands immediately.  Colston pushes him to the cage and and clinches. Colston gets the takedown and then the mount and begins to strike from the top.  The referee stops the fight to the dismay of some of the crowd here tonght .

Jaime Tigges (the gym) vs Clint Hightower (CICC)
Round 1
Hightower comes out with a kick and some hand stikes and Tigge with a some head fakes.  Hightower puts him on the cage and then starts hammering the body. Hightower with a hard leg kick and that hurts tiggs.  then a right hand and Tigges is on the ground Hightower holds a kimura then releases it to strike from the top.  Hightower steps into moutn and the starts a ground and pound then the ref has seen enough.

Nathan Wombacher vs Zach Burrell
Round 1
Burrell comes in with a fury and Wombacher comes back with some angry face. He comes back hard and Burrell makes him pay as he backs him to the cage and starts to strike on the way down. Wombacher scrambles and gets the top position and Burrell holds him in guard.  Burrell punches as Wombacher postures up and now a sweep and Burrell is punching from the top. Referee stops the fight.

Aaron Fuller (Big Bear Academy) vs David Harris (CICC)
Round 1
Harris comes out with some stries and Fuller seems to be able to weather it.  Fuller throwing fakdes and then Harris comes at him with a right that knocks him.  Fuller scrambles for a takdeown. Harris now in the mounts and Fuller is trying to stay around,  Bucking wildly from the bottom, but he can't shake Harris. Harris striking from the top and the ref calls a stop to the fight at 2:44 of the first round.

Cameron Blackwell (Big Bear Academy) vs Will Powell
Round 1
The two start out striking in close and a solid right from Blackwell and Powell is covering up.  Blackwell is firing away and Powell can't un-cover before the ref stops the fight.
:22 of the first round and Cameron Blackwell finishes Will Powell by TKO.

Keitron Murray (Big Bear Academy) vs Rob Johnson (CICC)
Round 1
The superheavyweight are goihg at it and Rob Johnson lifts 277lb  Murray off the canvas for a takedown. Johnson now working from side control and trying to cinch a kimura.  He switches then to a keylock and Johnson wins early in the first round.

Colton Creason (Team Adrenaline) vs Kelly Madden (CICC)
Round 1
Lots of the respect from both fighters. this is going to be a striking game for sure and a left hook from Madden puts Creason on the ground .  Now he strikes from the guard and there is a knockout from the guard Kelly Madden becomes the new 155lb champion for Central Illinois Champion.
Kelly Madden defeats Colton Creason to become the next 155lb champ for Central Illinois Throwdown by tko ground and pound strikes.

Randy Tucker vs Colton Martin
Round 1
Martin comes out like a beast and starts the striking game. Tucker starts to come back and almost lands the solid cross.  Martin takes the back of Tucer and ends up sliding over the top into an armbar. 
Early in the first round Colton Martin becomes the 170lb champion for Central Illinois Throwdown as he defeats Randy Tucker.
