We are live tonight at Invasion 2. Tonight Cutthroatmma.com takes on their new mission and brings in new amateur fighters from across the United States to face some of Chicago’s best fighters. Tonight the Main event features Carlson Gracie Fight Teams Danny “The Machine” Morales as he takes on Washington’s Shane Grenko in a 170LB Title fight. Grenko who has been on a five fight win streak will be challenging Morales for his CutthroatMMA.com belt.
Also on the card is two Co-Main events - JJ Gilmer (Team Colon) vs Sean Sivers (Independent from Indiana), Tom Shoaf (Carlson Gracie Fight Team) vs Warren Roberds (Wand Fight Team out of Vegas). Stay tuned for the play by play tonight.
Axel Mendes – Carlson Gracie Fight Team vs Anthony Pazamino – BBDC (California) 155lbs (Muay Thai)
Round 1
touch gloves andAxel srikes first and it looks like a leg kick takes down Pazimono. Mendez overwhelming Paz and just rhowing one twos and leg kicks. As Paz tries to get off Mendez hits him with the front foot jab and then an knock down with a spinning backfist and Paz is slow to get up. The count from ref L and Mendez is now back on the attack. Mendez slowing down and coming with a moderate pace Paz survives the round.
Round 2
Round 3
Touch gloves for round 3 and Mendez looking more confident and adding some spinning kicks some great setups winning body kicks from Mendez and a leg kick from Mendez has Paz limping. Paz comes back with some boxing, but Mendez comes back at him and stays patient as he pushes the pace. Paz gets a good counter hook, but just not enough power on it.
Alphonsa Graves – Hackerott’s Leadership Academy (Kansas) vs Jacob Ryan Judiscak – Independent (Oklahoma) 170 lbs
Round 1
Graves starts with a some movement and he is frist t oget a takedown after a clinch now Jucicsak grabs his back and “smashes the chicken (per Master Wanderley)” immediately takes a rear naked choke and Graves taps.
Dorothy Shultz – Carlson Gracie Fight Team vs Desiree Brandt – Power MMA (Arizona) 145lb (Muay Thai)
Round 1
Brandt coming forward, but its schultz that uses her reach and keeps Brandt off. Brandt working combinations and now Brandt tries to answer back Every time Brandt comes back with a leg kick Schutlxt hits her with a combination. Now a big right hand from Brandt. Shultz stays in and now both fighters are exchanging. Nice first round for both fighters.
Round 2
Brandt first to come forward and Shhutlxt now coming forward. a clinch and Schultz seems to win the exchanges inside and Brandt stays in her face and comes forward . Now Schultz punches her away and as Brandt comes off the fence another right hand lands solid on Shultz. Shultz start to look tired here and they both end the round. this will be a tough round to score
Round 3
Dorothy takes the center of ther righ and both fighters kicking and return kicking. an active clinch. Brandt coming forward nad Shultz putzs her on the cage the straight punching from Brandt and the combinations from Shultz is making this the best round yet. straight jabs from B randt and then a big right hand and she has Shultz on the fence as the round comes to an end. Brandt celebrating her win before the score cards.
At the end of three the judges score the fight - 29-28 S, 29-28 B, Desiree Brandt wins by split decision
Eric Bradach – Team Toro vs Nemo Vier – BBDC (California) 140lbs (Muay Thai)
Round 1
Bracach goes center and both fighters immediately come at each other and a clinch and both fighters are active in the clinch. Bradach working leg kicks and Vier conternt with working body punches. Bradach forces a clinch and Vier continues body punches. Bradach again with a clinch and scoring points with outside swing knees. a break at the tgen seconds and Bradach lets the clinch go just before the bell.
Round 2
Vier slips and comes back inside to the body with punches and again Bradach clinches. A slip and Bradach is back on his feet. Bracach going top to bottom and Vier now clinches. Bradach using more leg technique and another slip with a kick for Bradach and now Vier scores a trip and then a second, but I would call that plowing. Now both fighters kicking at the legs from in close range. Short kicks scoring points and now Vier punching out. And another clinch. From Bradach. Bradach with a straight right at the end of the round.
Round 3
Bradach dcomes out with a flurry and again a clinch. a right hand from Vier puts Bradach down, the ref allows him to stand up and doesn't call it a knockdown. now a warning to Vier for a hip toss. Vier coming forward with straight punches and Bradach working combos top and bottom. Both fighters kicking at each other as the round comes to an end.
After three rounds the judges score the fight for Eric Bradach by split decision over Nemo Vier
Pierre Williams – Rebels of Destruction vs Justin Blankenship – Team Train to Reign (California) 170lbs
Round 1
Blankenship looks bigger and Williams just comes at him with kicks and punches and now Blankenship is in trouble, hes down. and the referee calls the stoppage.
At just :34 of round 1 Pierre Williams defeats Justin Blankenship by KO.
Larry Lindenmen – Carlson Gracie Fight Team vs Tom Regep – Valko BJJ - both from Illinois will be competing in a Charity Brazilian Jiu Jitsu match for Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Touch tap and now the hand fight. Lindenman tries to pull guard, but Regep refuses to fall into guard. both feet on the hips and now a switch for lindenman as he now has both feet on biceps. now Regep almost scores the pass and as Regep comes into guard Lindenman attempts a triangle. Regep escapes and Lindenman stands up. both stalking now. and now fighting for grips a shot for Regep and Lindenman tries to pull him in. Lindenman sweeps and then a sweep for REgep. Regep on top now and Lindenman working feet on biceps. again Regep attempts to pass, but Lindman controlling his arms and sleeves.
At the end of 6 minutes this score is called a draw
Tom Shoaff - Carlson Gracie Fight Team vs Warren Roberds - Wand Fight Team (Las Vegas) 170lb (MMA)
Round 1
Shoaf is the first ot go to it and then a knockdown from Roberds has Shoaf on his back and as Shoaf is going for guard on Roberds. The ref stops the fight.
Warren Roberds wins over Tom Shoaf by TKO at seconds of the first round.
Roberds was getting boo ed and Shoaf returns to the ring to support Roberds.. class act
JJ Gilmer – Team Colon vs Sean Silvers – Independent (Indiana) 125lb Title Fight (MMA)
Round 1
A leg kick by gilmer and then as Silver clinches Gilmer drops him with a a belly to belly and now a rear naked from Gilmer and Silver taps.

Danny Morales - Carlson Gracie Fight Team vs Shane Grenko - White Buffalo Warriors (Washington) 170lb Title Fight (MMA)
Round 1
a kick from Morales and Grenko comes in and looks to clinch. Morales throwing knees in the clinch and Grenko dirty boxing. Morales puts Grenkno to the cage and now toe to toe and Morales looking great with the stand up game. Grenko clinches in the middle and again Morales puts him on the cage. Off the cage now and Morales counters and throws a nice straight left. a slip by Grenko and the leg kicks by Morales and hurting the led leg of Grenko. Back to the center of the ring and Morales is clearly ahead on the cards.
Round 2
Grenko more cautious now and he shoots in and is stuffed by Morales. A left and right by Grenko lands, but Morales is still in this game.Grenko now pushing the pace and a lead leg hed kick from Morales scores. Now the combinations from Morales are starting to land and Grenko still coming forward A straight body punch from Grenko can be heard throughout the theater, Now both fighters coming forward and Morales comes forwad and Grenko looks at him to say ok vreing it nad at the end of the round Morales gets the takedown and Grenko is slow to get up.
Round 3
a big left hand from Grenko and now Morales comes back with a spinning back fist, Grenko still standing n front of him and an accidental low blow puts Grenko to the canvas. Back at it and DMorales comes forward with a kick and then a flurry of punches and both fighter putting in the power shots. Morales looking to counter. and he comes back with a leg kick and then a left right. The leg kicks from Morales and now Morales gets a low blow. but he is ready to go right away. Greko with a combo and now Morales. a one two from Grenko put Morales on the cage and now he comes back.
Round 4
Grenko coming forward and Morales misses with a spinning back fist. antother body pucnh form Grenko and Morales answers with a kick. Morales beating Grenko with his counter to the jab. Morales with a leg kick. a combo from Morales and Grenko talking to him. Morales no with a flurry and Grenko looks frustrated that he cna't catch him. Morales just using the cage better. Morales lands a solid head kick and Grenko remains . Now Grenko grabs him and switches to clinch him, but he can't do anything with as the time runs out.
Round 5
another spinning back fist and Grenko is still coming forward and Morales continues to hit him with solid punches and combos and Grenko continues to come forward. a spinning back kick and the motino of Grenko moving forward puts Morales stubmling. More solid leg kicks from Morales. Grenko coming forward and throing some odd combos and Grenko having a hard time moving on that front leg. Lot's of movenment from Morales nd he continues to punish the leg of Grenko. Grenko now desperate to win this fight just coming forward and trying to get into a war with Morales.
